Manage the IS Governance Program, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Define and enforce data governance policies, manage data quality, and lead initiatives to reduce data governance risks. Enhance the AI governance framework, manage IS policies, and maintain security awareness programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and improve IS reporting for leadership.

As CISO, you will assume full responsibility for our information security strategy, working directly with the management, tech, and compliance teams to build a secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant environment. You will develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and conduct risk assessments and threat analyses.

Own the security function and lead strategy, execution, and representation across internal and external stakeholders. Drive security and compliance efforts across Engineering, DevOps, IT, Legal, and Sales—embedding standards like SOC 2, CCPA, and GDPR into scalable practices. Operate with autonomy to shape the security roadmap, manage incidents, and continuously improve posture without day-to-day direction.

As the Staff Security Enablement Analyst, you will develop, implement, measure, and manage processes to enhance security enablement across Twilio, fostering a security-first culture by engaging, training, and empowering Twilio employees to act as security practitioners to support and up-level Twilio’s security posture.
